Three Valley Gap Club Cruise June 13th and 14th 2009



On June 13th and 14h 2009 the Okanagan Mustangs and Fords car club had a cruise up to 3 Valley Gap in Revelstoke BC.

After a great day of cruising we arrive at 3 Valley Gap Chateau for an evening of entertainment.

After a tour of the ghost town and an education in Revelstoke history we settled in for a little drink , dinner and more drink.

On Sunday a few members headed back home as the rest of us traveled to Nakusp, taking #1 to Revelstoke, then #23S to ferry at Galena Bay,then #6 thru Nakusp to ferry at Farquier were we headed back to Vernon through Cherryville.

A great time was had by all.

Three Valley Gap Club Cruise

Welcome to the FIRST touring event for the Okanagan Mustangs and Fords Club. Come and join
us for a weekend drive, spectacular scenery, a unique resort and the camaraderie of your club
members and tour prizes!!

I: Schedule/ Saturday, June 13th

1. 9:30am Participants meet at Vernon’s Village Green Mall
2. 10:00am Travel via back roads to Enderby then north on #97A to Sicamous
3. 11:00am Tour of Sicamous / pit stop at Tim Horton’s. Proceed east on #1
4. Travel to Craigellachie/ pit stop/ view “last spike”
5. Arrive at Three Valley Gap- lunch in the cafeteria/ dining room. Check-in
6. 2:00-4:00pm Cars on display- free time- swim, walk to lake, etc.
7. 4:00pm Guided tour of Ghost Town, car museum and train roundhouse
8. 6:30pm BBQ dinner- meet at Saloon in Ghost Town

II: Schedule/ Sunday, June 14th
1. 8:30am Group breakfast in Railway Dinning Car
2. 10:00am Travel back to Okanagan via
#1 to Revelstoke, then #23S to ferry @ Galena Bay,
then #6 thru Nakusp to ferry at Farquier

III: Costs (not including PST/GST)
1. Room for 2 adults $108(10% discount) plus taxes
2. Lunch- soup and sandwich, etc. approx $8p.p.
3. Dinner- BBQ includes cost of guided tour of Ghost Town, etc. $22 p.p.
4. Breakfast- $7- $8 p.p.* *estimated(depends on your choices)

IV: Specific Information

1. Registration fee is $25 per person, payable in advance to Okanagan Mustang
Association. No later than May 30th, 2009. Pay via PayPal at our website or by cheque

Your pre reg fee will be used to cover your Saturday BBQ dinner and guided tour.
2. To confirm room at Three Valley Gap phone 1-888-667-2109 mention Okanagan
Mustang Cruise and use credit card. Note: 24 hour cancellation policy in affect. Go to
their website at www.3valley.com for general info on the resort.
3. The resort does not allow pets.
4. Details of route with map, details of lunch, BBQ dinner & Sunday Breakfast will be on an
info sheet to be handed out at Village Green Mall at 9:30am on the Saturday of our
departure.
5. Route from Vernon to Three Valley Gap is about 130 kms. And should take between 2-
2.5 hours with stops. I.e. leaving Vernon to Three Valley Gap 10:00am. We should arrive
at our destination about 12:30pm

Okanagan Mustang and Fords Touring Event


June 13th and 14th 2009
In a review of our members last year we heard loud and clear that you where tired of sitting around at the same old car shows. Many of you expressed the fun of driving to Apex or Big White.
This year we have organized an action packed weekend at Thee Valley Gap. Plenty with lots of fun for the Family with a ghost town to boot.....or is that hoot!!!
There will be plenty to do:Heritage Ghost Town Guided Tours Hotel Bellevue Trappers Joe's Cabin Antique Auto Museum Railway Roundhouse The Buggy & Wagon Shop Walter Moberly Live Stage Theatre.
Open to all Classic car drivers.
